Hello to all of you mark-ass-tricks and trick-ass-marks!
Observing different cars launching at the drag strip has sparked an interest in drag suspension.
I saw a 1960s Pontiac Catalina run an 8 second 1/4 mile without even flinching off the line. It just planted and went. I was amazed.
Meanwhile, my friend's 92 Caprice is trapping at almost 130 mph and he is bouncing and sliding all over the track. He runs 11s, but the car definitely has more in it.
Some of you guys have been doing this for a long time, and I want to know your secrets. How do you keep a fast drag car planted to the track?
Discuss.
