Welcome! In this thread, I will casually document my 95 Fleetwood build. As the curtains are pulled back, this shit-show begins with a car that is pretty much done, aside from some electrical weirdness. The previous owner had an aftermarket security system installed on the car at some point, and the install was very amateur. I've been dealing with all sorts of spliced/twisted/taped wires, random unidentified modules, etc. VATS was supposedly deleted in the PCM, and the VATS module in the dash appears to be absent. The relay in the passenger A-pillar was unplugged and jumped with a small wire. Currently, the car seems to crank normally, and the PASS KEY light is NOT coming on. I have no spark coming from the coil, as indicated by an inline tester light. My next step will be to check for 12v at the PCM. If power is getting to the PCM, then the PCM itself may be dead (I think). A little bit about the car: She is a 1995 Fleetwood Brougham, all black, and Herd-owned since new. I'm the third owner. The car sat for 10 years before I acquired it. Then, it sat for several more years while I fixed it up slowly. Mods include a mildly built 4L60E with an Edge 2600 converter, an LT4 hot cam, 1.6 rockers, Edelbrock valve springs, Hooker headers, and some suspension work. The bottom end is original, with 180k miles. Any insight on the ignition stuff is much appreciated. If I don't figure it out soon, I will just swap all of the wiring from my 94 parts car. Thanks for reading! Matt

Earlier this month, I installed the trans by myself. With a trans jack, it really isn't bad. Right now the drive shaft is pressed into the tail shaft, but it isn't bolted to the rear end yet. Oh, about the rear end. For now I am keeping the 2.93 gears and adding a mini-spool. Eventually I will shorten the gear ratio when I upgrade the differential.
